This is more than $300 billion a year, or well over $3 trillion over the next decade. The demand for such huge funds is given as the main rationale for global taxes to be levied on the world’s taxpayers, outside the control of and accountability to national governments.

Albany, NY 8/31/06 Libertarian Party of New York State Chair Richard Cooper reports that general objections have been filed against both the statewide Libertarian petition and that for Eric Sundwall in the 20th Congressional District. Cooper asks “Are the Republicans and lobbyist John Faso desperate to keep the Libertarians out of the race? They know we won’t hesitate to expose Republicans as deceiving the public with less government rhetoric and big government practice.” The 20th District seat held by Republican John Sweeney is thought to be one of the more competitive this year.

The six-month pilot is being deployed in collaboration with Asiana Airlines, Korean Air and Incheon International Airport in the hope of improving baggage handling.

Beginning next spring, travelers flying from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to Seoul, South Korea, on either Asiana Airlines or Korean Air, might have more luck than they do now in reuniting with their checked luggage upon landing at Seoul’s Incheon International Airport. In the segment before Oliver North declared that electing a Democratic Congress could bring about a nuclear catastrophe, he was confronted by Alan Colmes about just how close Iran really is to having a nuclear bomb. At each question, North paused, obviously nonplused, and offered a non-responsive reply. Nevertheless, lack of facts didn’t seem to stop him from being willing to scare the pants off the public in the next segment. Kissinger vs. the 9/11 Families

After fighting the White House for a year, the 9/11 families learned in November 2002 they would finally get their independent investigation. President Bush’s first act was to name former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger to chair the 9/11 Commission.

The families would soon confront Kissinger about some disturbing skeletons they had discovered in his closet. (more…)
