Galloway, Fisk, Hersh: Azzam’s Favorite Infidels
September 5th, 2006
It should come as no surprise Adam Gadahn, “Azzam the American,” an obvious intelligence plant, would mention Seymour Hersh, George Galloway, and Robert Fisk, even though they are infidels, the same way the dead Osama mentioned William Blum on a previous occasion.
It makes perfect sense because all three are particularly effective in documenting the machinations of the neocons and thus need to be linked to “al-Qaeda,” especially Galloway who is especially vociferous and has effectively resisted all efforts to slander him, including successfully suing the Daily Telegraph for defamatory remarks (the Daily Telegraph attempted, rather feebly, to link Galloway to Iraqi intelligence and Saddam Hussein, a dismal effort that cost the newspaper, formerly owned by the neocon Conrad Black, £150,000 in damages plus costs estimated to total £1.2 million).
Azzam’s CIA scriptwriters wrote the following: (more…)
Biometric Scanners for Kiddies
September 5th, 2006
Wonderful police state security measures touted to kids as normal, useful and fun
Mums and Dads get your kiddy Biometric Scanner Room Guard!
The Bio-Metric Scanner Room Guard announces nosy brothers or sisters trying to enter, while allowing silent entry only to the person whose hand matches the five-finger pressure-sensitive password. An alarm sounds if an “intruder” tries to enter! This electronic sentinel fits all doors and uses 3 AA batteries (sold separately). 3″ x 5″. Ages 9+.
Dangerously indicative of a big brother society or harmless fun?
Either way, children are being acclimatized to accept the biometric security and surveillance state as normal, cool and convenient. They are also being taught that having your retina scanned and your DNA logged is normal and necessary to keep you safe. (more…)
New Al Qaeda Video More CIA Black Op Propaganda
September 5th, 2006
Pathetic pretence kept up that “Al Qaeda” is still or ever was a real organized terror outfit and not the creation of deep intelligence.
The latest cobbled together trash home video to be released and accredited to “Al Qaeda” is yet another piece of scripted propaganda that portrays a desperate attempt to give the impression that the group operates as a cohesive unit.
It is becoming tiresome to have to address these endless videos which are released whenever the Administration is feeling the pressure, something that now seems to be a peranent feature of this government. (more…)

US toughens passport rules, required for entry from Canada, Mexico
September 5th, 2006
The Department of Homeland Security and Congress have moved to make entering the United States more restrictive by requiring passports to be used for travel from the Caribbean to the US, Today’s Wall Street Journal reports.
The new rules begin January 8th, when citizens entering the US from the Caribbean by air or sea will be required to hold US passports. In January 2008, the same requirement will be put in place for travellers entering the United States by car from Canada or Mexico.
I can’t imagine this being a permanent measure, doesn’t quite follow the NAFTA, North American Union, Globalization plan. This is likely just one of many politically motivated gestures from Congres in the build-up to the mid-term elections.
Bush declares eco-whistleblower law void for EPA employees
September 5th, 2006
The Bush administration has declared itself immune from whistleblower protections for federal workers under the Clean Water Act, according to legal documents released today by Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER). As a result of an opinion issued by a unit within the Office of the Attorney General, federal workers will have little protection from official retaliation for reporting water pollution enforcement breakdowns, manipulations of science or cleanup failures.

The state of emergency has been in place for almost two years and covers every region except the autonomous Kurdish region in the north. It grants security forces greater powers such as implementing curfews and making arrests without warrants.
Bush, GOP hoping terror card can save them from election drubbing
September 5th, 2006
President Bush and the Republicans expect a stinging defeat in November, but they’re betting the terror card saves them from an electoral debacle.
“The security issue trumps everything,” a senior Bush official said last week. “That’s why even though they’re really mad at us, in the end they’re going to give us another two years.”
Nevertheless, many other senior Bush loyalists privately believe anti-Iraq and anti-Bush sentiment will cost the Republicans the House nine weeks from today, a doomsday scenario that would cripple Bush for his final two years in office.
Afghanistan ‘falling into Taliban hands’
September 5th, 2006
AFGHANISTAN is “falling back into the hands of the Taliban” and British troops are fighting in a lawless land, a new report said today.
The report, Afghanistan Five Years Later: The Return of the Taliban, said the British and United States-led international coalition in Afghanistan has “failed to achieve stability and security”.
So we have Iraq in the midst of civil war and debating a federal break-up, and now Afghanistan is falling back into Taliban hands — I guess this is “progress” according to Bush and Blair.
Israel: Annan’s help not needed in prisoner swap
September 5th, 2006
Israel denied claims that it had asked UN Secretary General Kofi Annan to act as mediator in negotiations over a possible prisoner swap, saying Monday it had only asked the UN chief to assist in efforts to return Israeli soldiers kidnapped by the Hezbollah.
“A mediator is not needed,” a government official said. “The UN resolution determines that the soldiers will be released unconditionally. The UN Secretary-General will assist and not mediate.”
Hizbullah: Israel continues to violate cease fire
September 5th, 2006
Hizbullah leaders told German Intelligence (BND) Chief Ernst Uhrlau that there would not be any negotiations over the release of the kidnapped IDF soldiers “as long as Israel continued to violate the cease fire,” the London based Al-Hayat newspaper reported on Monday.
The leaders alleged that the IAF was carrying out sorties over Lebanon and that the IDF had not fully withdrawn from south of the country.
