Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Aleksandr Alekseev says Russia and China agree that it is unacceptable to threaten to use force against Iran in the standoff over its nuclear program.

He also said attempts to pressure Iran with ultimatums are counterproductive.

His comments came shortly before foreign ministers from Britain, France, Germany, China, Russia, and the United States were due to meet in London to discuss the crisis.
